This is a nice set of 4 ceramic knives and a peeler. They come in a nice holder that adds a bit of a cool design to your kitchen. the knives themselves are of good quality, very lightweight and sharp. Because the holder is made of plastic you want to make sure not to bend the arm that holds the peeler too far because that can break.



Pros:

-Sharpness: Ceramics are harder and won't need sharpening as often as a steel knife.

-No Rust/stains

-Lightweight

-Not Porous: Won't transfer tastes or odors from one food to another (i.e. onions or spicy foods). Also metal knives can alter the taste of acidic foods like lemons, a ceramic knife is non-reactive and will not alter the taste.

-Looks: Unlike your normal wooden block, this plastic holder actually looks nice in your kitchen



Cons:

-Unflexible/Brittle: The hardness of the knife has a catch! Can't use the knife to pry or wedge something. It is not flexible and will break. Can't use on hard cutting surfaces like granite or the knife may chip. You don't want to drop it or it can chip/break. You don't want to use these as a screwdriver!

-Can't sharpen on your own: while rarely needing to sharpen is a plus, if you ever do need to sharpen it you will have to find a professional with a diamond wheel



Overall its a good set of knives at a decent price. Many sets of ceramic knives sell for a much higher price than this. I received the product for the purpose of this review.
