Great knife set that covers most uses in the small to average kitchen. The balance is good and the knives have a good sharp edge. The handles are easy to keep a grip on even when your hands are wet. They come with a serial number and a limited life time warranty. They are made of German stainless but are made in Taiwan. All in all a very good value for 5 knives with a very contemporary glass block.



Mercer knives are used in many culinary schools and are well known in the trade. (I have a friend who is an executive chef that I consulted with before I purchased).
