Got this for my 3 and 5 year olds to help chop green beans and other veggies to help with dinner prep. It's harder to use that I'd hoped (because it's not super sharp, which is probably good given my children are using it), but it's easy for them to handle it and they enjoy the chopping. It hasn't vastly accelerated my dinner prep, but that probably has less to do with the tool than the little persons operating it.
