After having some real frustrations dressing deer with a cheapo knife I took a chance on this based on the other reviews. It works real well, and the curved blade is a lot better suited for this work than a straight one. Not only good for dressing but did good work on the deer meat in the kitchen. The only reason I don't give it five stars is it didn't come with any real sheath, just a this flimsy flat vinyl/plastic thing that can easily slide off the knife. This is not something you want in your gear kit with an unprotected blade.
