I got this pair of grapefruit spoons primarily for scraping out the seeds of winter squashes because I couldn't find a larger serrated spoodn and I don't know what they call the scraper spoons for squash.. These work very well! I also tried one yesterday for a grapefruit, and it also worked well for that. Although serrated, it isn't scratchy or rough. I'll probably buy another set to have one pair each dedicated for squash and grapefruit respectively.
