I bought Victorinox's chef knife and was very satisfied, however I wanted another knife better suited for meats. I bought this knife to satisfy that need and I am not disappointed. This knife is absolutely amazing. My wife is scared to use it because it is so sharp. We hand dry it and put it away immediately because of the damage this thing could do. It's shape is great, the large handle feels sturdy and comfortable, and of course it slices through meats like butter. Sharpest knife I've ever owned period.
